PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

We accept all major credit and debit cards, including:

Visa, Visa Debit / Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, MasterCard Debit, UK Maestro, American Express, Apple Pay, and PayPal.

For overseas customers, the final charge price will be subject to the exchange rate applied by the customer’s card issuer. Customs duties, taxes, and import charges are not included in any item price. All international orders are shipped with delivery duties unpaid (DDU), meaning any fees charged once the parcel reaches its final destination must be paid by the recipient.

OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU

7. How We Accept Your Order

Our acceptance of your order takes place when payment has been received in full and we confirm that your order is being processed. At that point, a contract comes into existence between you and us.

8. If We Cannot Accept Your Order

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance. We may refuse an order for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Products being out of stock
  • Payment authorisation issues
  • Errors in pricing or product descriptions
  • Unexpected limits on resources
  • Failure to meet minimum age requirements (16 years or over)

If we cannot accept your order, we will inform you and will not charge you.

9. Your Order Number

We will assign an order number when your order is accepted. Please quote this number when contacting us.

10. Product Descriptions

Product images and descriptions are for illustrative purposes only. Although we make every effort to display colours and materials accurately, variations may occur due to screen settings or production differences.

11. Measurements and Sizing

You are responsible for ensuring that all measurements and sizes selected are correct. If you need assistance, please contact us before placing your order.


CHANGES TO ORDERS

12. Your Right to Request Changes

If you wish to make changes to your order, contact us as soon as possible. We will advise whether the change is possible and inform you of any impact on price or delivery.

13. Our Right to Make Changes

We may make minor changes to products to:

  • Reflect changes in law or regulatory requirements
  • Implement technical or quality improvements

DELIVERY AND SUPPLY

14. Delivery Costs

  • UK delivery is free and typically completed within 1–3 working days
  • Saturday delivery may be available at an additional charge, subject to availability
  • International delivery costs £20 per order, with delivery times varying by destination

Delivery is completed when the products reach the delivery address provided by you.

15. International Deliveries

For deliveries outside the UK, you are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and compliance with local laws and regulations. We are not liable for these charges.

16. When We Will Provide the Products

Products will be dispatched as soon as reasonably possible and no later than 30 days after order acceptance.

17. Delays Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. If a substantial delay occurs, you may contact us to cancel your order and receive a refund for any undelivered products.

18. Unsuccessful Deliveries

Delivery services are provided by third-party couriers. Their delivery terms and conditions apply.


OWNERSHIP AND RESPONSIBILITY

19. Responsibility for Products

Products become your responsibility once they have been delivered to the address provided.

20. Ownership of Products

You own the products once payment has been received in full.


ENDING THE CONTRACT

21. Your Right to Change Your Mind (EEA Customers)

If you are ordering from within the European Economic Area (EEA), you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days and receive a refund, subject to exclusions.

22. When You Do Not Have the Right to Cancel

You do not have the right to cancel orders for:

  • Sealed hygiene items once unsealed
  • Products that become inseparably mixed with other items

23. How to End the Contract

To cancel your order, please contact us at support@alainvontier.com with your order details.

24. Returning Products

Products must be returned within 14 days of cancellation. You are responsible for return costs unless items are faulty or misdescribed.

25. Refunds

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned products or proof of return.


OUR RIGHT TO END THE CONTRACT

We may end the contract if you:

  • Fail to make payment
  • Fail to provide necessary information
  • Prevent delivery within a reasonable timeframe

Any payments made for products not supplied will be refunded.


PRICE AND PAYMENT

26. Pricing

Prices include VAT where applicable and are displayed at checkout.

27. VAT Changes

If VAT rates change after you place an order, adjustments may apply unless payment has already been made in full.

28. Pricing Errors

If a pricing error is identified, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

29. Payment Methods

Payment must be made before dispatch. We accept major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and PayPal.


LIABILITY

30. Our Responsibility for Loss or Damage

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our failure to comply with these terms. We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Breach of statutory consumer rights

PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will only use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS

32. Transfer of Agreement

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation.

33. Third-Party Rights

No third party has any rights to enforce this contract.

If any part of these terms is found unlawful, the remaining terms will remain in full force.

35. Delay in Enforcement

Any delay in enforcing these terms does not waive our right to enforce them later.
